Traditional cylinder boring bit with centre point, two main cutting edges and two taper taps.
Tear free accurate holes in soft wood, can also be used for European hard wood and veneered boards.
Especially easy to resharpen due to the straight taper taps.
Stationary deep-hole drilling is possible with our extension shank product line 1639.
Cylinder boring bits are only suitable for stationary operation.
Alloyed tool steel. 700 - 3000 rpm. e.g. Ø 15 mm 2300 rpm in soft wood.
