Key Features
- Traditional cylinder boring bit with centre point, two main cutting edges and two taper taps
- Tear free accurate holes in soft wood, can also be used for European hard wood and veneered boards. Especially easy to resharpen due to the straight taper taps. Stationary deep-hole drilling is possible with our extension shank product line 1639
- Cylinder boring bits are only suitable for stationary operation. For freehand drilling we recommend our rapid Forstner bit Bormax product line 1622 or the TCT-Bormax³ product line 1663
- UPM: 700 - 3000 rpm. e.g. Ø 15 mm 2300 rpm in soft wood.
