• The Axminster Professional AP254CPS Compact Panel Saw is a medium sized duty panel saw. Having been developed, tested and refined using decades of industry experience, it meets the demands of a busy workshop, delivering precision, reliability and accuracy every time. The cast iron saw and motor chassis are mounted to a rigid steel frame, ensuring long term accuracy by relieving stress from the table and helps to maintain its flatness, even under heavy use.
• It features a 1,300 x 270mm sliding table, with 1,250mm stroke perfect for sheet work and repeatable accuracy. The sliding table gives 1,250mm travel past the blade. The main cast iron table (800 x 345mm) and side extension (800 x 330mm) provide a generous working surface, all set at an ergonomic 865mm height. The 254mm blade spins at 4,000rpm and is capable of cutting up to 80mm at 90° and 56mm at 45°, with smooth tilt adjustment from 0° to 45° through various materials. It is powered by a high torque 2.5kW motor, to ensure for smooth running.
• The 610mm ripping capacity and sliding table stroke of 1,250mm make it ideal for handling sheet materials with ease and accuracy.
• The fence system features a heavy-duty, triangular aluminium extruded hi–low rail, secured to the main body with three quick-action clamps. A single lever locks the fence for fast, repeatable setup.
• A standard 19 × 10 mm mitre slot is built into the main table, and the mitre fence includes an angle scale for smaller workpieces. Both blade height and tilt controls are conveniently positioned and lock securely. The support table can be placed anywhere along the sliding table.
• Dust extraction is handled via 100mm and 63mm outlets, requiring 1,000 m³/hr airflow, helping maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• The AP254CPS Compact Panel Saw runs on 230V and comes fitted with a 16A plug, making it accessible for single-phase workshops.
