A vee-notch in each jaw securely holds round or square stock perfectly centred and perpendicular. The maximum diameter or diagonal measurement is 45mm, while the fully open jaws provide a maximum capacity of 70mm x 45mm. The jaws run on four steel guide bars, ensuring smooth, consistently parallel movement. Turning the control knob clockwise opens the jaws, and counterclockwise closes them. Threaded holes in the base align with the fixing holes on the UJK Drill Guide, and attaching a sub-base for use elsewhere is straightforward.
