- Cutters are chosen for fast free cutting, when cutting speed takes preference over finish.
- Cutters of 2.0mm diameter and below should have a maximum of 1.0mm depth of cut per pass.
- Small diameter tools must be handled with care to avoid breakage.
- Single flute cutters should not be used in eccentric chucks.
- Cutters of 5.5 mm and below (excluding 2/45X1/4TC) have Solid Carbide inserts.
- All other cutters (including 2/45X1/4TC) are TCT - Tungsten Carbide Tipped.
- Cutter with the prefix "S" are Solid Carbide.
