• Navigating sharpening methods and accessories can be overwhelming. The KSK-106 Knife Sharpening Kit removes that barrier by including all essential components needed to sharpen most knives – from small everyday carry knives to larger kitchen and outdoor knives.
• Every product in the kit is part of the Tormek System and developed to work together for precise angle control, stability, and consistency.
• The KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig fits the vast majority of knives. It centers the blade in its jaws for an even sharpening angle by just flipping the knife over. The two stops ensure you can sharpen even the tallest blades, while also allowing a controlled sharpening of convex bevels.
• With the included MB-102 Multi Base you can sharpen on the completely flat outside of our diamond grinding wheels to achieve a completely flat bevel. The Multi Base also allows you to sharpen knives edge trailing, as well as controlled deburring, polishing, and honing with jigs on the honing wheel.
• The KJ-140 Wide Centering Knife Jig does the same job as its narrower version, but the wider jaws help stabilize longer, flexible blades to ensure a consistent result on, for example, filleting knives.
• For knives with blades too small to properly clamp in the KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig we've included the SVM-00 Small Knife Holder. It provides precision sharpening for even the smallest blades.
• The KS-123 Knife Angle Setter has set a new standard for precision in knife sharpening. It lets you set the exact sharpening angle in three easy steps. It is truly a relief to take away all the guesswork from the angle-setting process, and have a reliable, analog solution you can count on. Setting the angle between 8°-25° (degrees per side, dps) takes only a few seconds.
• When you are done sharpening you can inspect the bevel, burr, and the final edge with the CU-8 Edge Loupe with 8 x magnification. You can learn a lot by studying the grinding pattern and the burr during various stages of sharpening, ensuring a consistent result.
• All jigs and accessories included come packaged in the TC-800 Tormek Case together with the KSK-00 Storage Tray for Knife Sharpening Kit.
