• A shooting board used with a finely set bench plane allows accurate squaring and clean finishing of end grain. The Rider Shooting Board is CNC machined from 20mm thick phenolic sheet, with a hardwood fence and stainless steel fittings. The phenolic surface is lightweight, durable, low friction and resistant to water, and it will not warp or twist over time. The board measures 500mm x 200mm and features a 64mm wide plane track.
• The fence can be fitted at either end, allowing for both right- and left-handed use. Two 20mm dog holes at 96mm centres are positioned centrally for use with an optional mitre fence for accurate 45° trimming. The board can also be secured to a multifunction workbench using UJK Parf Long Anchor Dogs or similar. 
• Countersunk holes at each end allow a batten to be fitted as a bench stop, or for the board to be held in a vice. Alternatively, it can be fixed directly to the bench.
• Note: Applying a light coat of machine wax will help the plane glide smoothly along the track.
