Strengths and benefits

Trade Rated Construction

Professional cabinet mounted panel saw with cast iron table, cast iron motor trunnions and cast iron fence bracket.
The large table area is further extended with additional tables to the right and rear with a support leg to maintain rigidity.
Power is provided by a 3.0kw (4hp) Induction motor with a brake to bring it to rest quickly after powering down.

Rip Cuts

The rip fence runs on a round steel bar with a quick action cam lever to lock the desired cutting width. For making small adjustments a micro-adjuster is also provided. The measuring scale is clearly marked in millimetre increments up to the full 1200mm Capacity. The fence extrusion can be fitted in the high or low position, depending on the type of cut to be made, it has a quick action cam lock to make the adjustment.

Sliding Beam

The sliding beam glides effortlessly on a bearing carriage giving a smooth action across the full 1600mm range. It can be locked when not in use. An outrigger table is used to hold larger panels with a telescopic support arm underneath to prevent any deflection.
The main crosscut fence is 1200mm long with a sliding flip over stop to set the cutting width. An further extension rail allows for cutting widths of up to 2200mm.
The angle of the crosscut fence can be adjusted from 90 to 45 degrees. A flip stop brings it exactly back to the 90 degree position. A hold down clamp can be fitted anywhere along the length of the fence.
A small mitre fence is also included, which is handy for quick crosscut jobs. It is adjustable 90 degrees each way and has a vertical hold down clamp to secure the work piece.

Scorer Blade

A scoring blade is a small, auxiliary saw blade mounted in front of the main saw blade. It pre-cuts the surface veneer or coating on a panel so the main blade can rip through without chipping out the surface. The scoring blade spins in the opposite direction to the main blade, making a shallow cut in the bottom surface of the board with the main blade following through the rest of the thickness to finish the cut. It ensures delicate surfaces like melamine or Laminate are cut cleanly.
The scoring blade can be lowered out of the way when not required.

Dust Control

Dust is collected from above and below the blade from a single outlet behind the saw. An extractor should be connected using a 100mm diameter hose.
