Charnwood Belt and Disk Sander 1" X 5"  - (Ref: BD15) 

•  A compact and well made combination disc & belt sander. Ideally suited to any small workshop and an excellent choice for model makers, toy makers, or anybody working with small components. 
• A cast iron base gives this mini sander a solid look and feel.Removing the top roller safety guard gives access to the sanding belt drum which can be used for sanding curved shapes. The sander sits on 4 rubber feet to provide a stable platform. It can also be secured to a work bench using the 2 mounting points provided.Supplied with mitre fence, 1 x 80 grit sanding belt, 1 x 80 grit self adhesive sanding disc, 2.0m power cable & UK 3 pin plug.

• For sanding larger flat faces or end grain use the 5" diameter sanding disc. It is complimented by a solid one piece cast aluminium work table, hinged at both ends to allow a tilting function of up to 45 degrees. The work table also has a slot to mount a mitre fence which can be adjusted up to 60 degrees each way. Allowing mitred and compound angles to be sanded. A dust extraction outlet is provided to connect to a suitable vacuum or extractor.
• For edge sanding, profiling or sharpening tools, the belt sander is 25mm wide with a back plate to keep its shape. It has a solid one piece cast aluminium work table, hinged to allow tilting to 45 degrees. There is an adjustable stop provided to ensure it always goes back to 90 degrees.
