Auto Extract 13 Amp Outlet Control Unit
Auto-Extract senses the magnetic field generated when a machine tool is switched on. When a machine is started (saw bench, planner etc.) Auto-Extract automatically switches on the dust extractor. The Auto-Extract 13A control unit switches the power to operate single phase dust extractors fitted with a 13A plug. Patented sensors plugged into the Auto-Extract controller attach to the motors of each machine. No electrical connections are made to the machines; each sensor simply attaches to the machine's motor and will function with both single and three phase machines. Five machines can be monitored by AutoExtract, or more by adding Auto-Expand units.
Power Light: Red LED illuminates when there is power connected to Auto-Extract.
Detect Light: Yellow LED illuminates when the sensor(s) detect a sufficiently strong alternating magnetic field from a machine's motor.
Running Light: Green LED illuminates when the dust extractor output is on. Auto-extract will continue to operate the extractor for 15 seconds after the machine(s) are turned off to allow ducting to clear.
Over-Run: Auto-extract will continue to operate the extractor for 15 seconds after the machine(s) are turned off to allow ducting to clear.
Power on Reset: If the mains power is interrupted the control output is automatically disabled. After approximately 20 seconds the extractor control will then operate as normal when triggered by a machine sensor.

Mains Connections: The Auto-Extract 13A control unit is supplied with a 2m mains cable fitted with a moulded 13A plug for conection to the mains supply. The dust extractor is plugged into a 13A socket outlet on the front of the unit.
Sockets: 5 x Sensor inputs 2.5mm jack. 1 x Expansion input/output 3.5mm jack.
